About the Authors
Jennifer Somervell is the author of the award-winning Tales From the Farm picture book series, based on her childhood adventures growing up on a New Zealand farm in the 1970s. Her five books have all won first place awards in the Purple Dragonfly Book Awards for excellence in children’s literature.
Illustrator Zerika Van Jaarsveld says she ‘was born with a crayon in her mouth’ and has ‘pictures piling up in her head, waiting to be painted’. She cut her artistic teeth drawing on the walls of her grandmother’s family home in Namibia.. ‘A Baa-rilliant Adventure’ is Zerika’s fourth book. She lives in Otautau, Southland with her husband and two children.
